Vu a l’aeroport de Delhi… Avant de m’envoler pour Bangkok.

Seen in Delhi airport… Just before I took my plane to Bangkok.

On m’avais conseille de faire un tour dans ce quartier de Delhi, habite par les refugiers tibetains… Apres avoir depose mon sac dans une agence de voyage (et reserve un taxi pour l’aeroport), je me suis promene dans les rues un peu glauques de ce quartier. Puis pendant ma sieste dans le « jardin public », un groupe de locaux et venu me reveiller, me demandant de ne pas rester dans le parc, pour ma securite…
Dans une des rues, un jeune est venu me tenir compagnie, nous sommes alles voir sa famille, puis ses amis, avant de rentrer dans un cafe pour un verre de tchae…
Apres le depart du jeune, en colere car j’avais decide de ne plus le suivre mais de rester au cafe, un souteneur ma paye un tchae et ma presente sa « fiancee », sa gagneuse…
Une demi heure plus tard, le couple me laisse a ma table, et c’est le tour a des jeunes etudiants de venir me faire la causette…
On peut dire que j’ai decouvert une partie de la vie de ce quartier…

Some people told me to visit this part of Delhi, where the Tibetan refugees are living… I left my bag in a tourist agency (and booked a taxi for the airport), and I went in the kind of crappy streets for a stroll… While I was napping in a « public garden », a 8 men group went to wake me up, and asked me to leave the place for my safety…
Back to my walk in the streets, a young man joined me and introduced me to his family and friends… We went together in a small cafe for a drink of tchae…
After he left me, angry because I told him I wanted to stay there instead of follow him, a man paid me another tea and introduced me to his « girlfriend », his woman for sell…
Half an hour later, this strange « couple » went away and some students joined me for some extra glasses and to talk about India, Delhi, Majnu Katee La, … and Europe…
I can say that I discover a part of the real life there…

Une nuit de plus dans un bus… Apres deux jours de bus et une nuit dans un vrai lit, 16 heures avec mon sac coince entre les jambes et un voisin transpirant…

One more night in a public bus… After two days in a bus and a night in a real bed, 16 hours stuck on my seat with my bag between my legs, and a sweaty neighbor…

C’etait le but de cette journee a moto… Et en plus des merveilleux paysages il y avait un jus de pomme avec les potes, et ce superbe panneau…
Sans parler du retour, avec un incroyable couche de soleil derriere, et un lever de pleine lune en face, au dessus des montagnes du Ladakh…

That was the goal of this ride on motocycle… And after some beautiful landscapes, and an apple juice shared with friends, I saw this sign…
And all of this without talking about the sunset on the way back to Leh, facing the full moon…

There are the 150cc, the Bullet 350 & Bullet 500… that’s my dream… I’ll come back to buy one…
Waiting for this time to come, I went for a one day ride with Inbar, Sebran et Celine, Nico et Caro, Federico, Paolo… Booooorn to be wiiiiild!!!
