Tibetan medecine
Posted in Inde, Vincent on 07/27/2009 03:54 by t*i*ddSouffrant de diarrhee protozoale, les medicaments de ma trousse de secours etant inneficaces, je suis alle chez le medecin tibetain du coin… Quelques roupies et minutes plus tard, j’avais en poche des boulettes d’herbes sechees a prendre 3 fois par jour.
Et bien le traitement a ete efficace !
I was suffering from protozoal diarrhea, and the tablets from my first aid kit were useless, so I went to the local Tibetan doctor… After few minutes, and some rupees out of my pocket, I had some dry herbal marbles as tablets to cure my disease.
It worked very well!

demain je pars pour un trek en solitaire de 8 jours dans la Markha Valley avec 2 cols a 4900m et 5200m… (et combattre les bacteries qui habitent mon estomac depuis une semaine deja)
A mon retour je partirai pour la Thailand puis le Laos et la chine…
J’ai encore dans mes cartons des posts sur les Royal Enfield, sur Sebran et Celine…

tomorrow I go for a 8 days trek by my own in Markha Valley, with 2 summits of 4900m and 5200m… (and fight against the bacterias living in my stomach for a week already)
When I’ll be back to Leh, I’ll head to Delhi to fly to Bangkok (Thailand) then cross Laos and visit China…
I still have a lot to post here about the Royal Enfield, Sebran and Celine…

Voici le seul cadeau que je me suis offert depuis le debut de mon voyage, un bracelet compose de tetes de mort sculptees dans des os de yack…
Ici, au Ladakh, c’est un porte bonheur…
Here is the first gift I’ve bought to myself since i started this trip, a bracelet made with skulls sculpted in yak bones…
In Ladakh it mean good luck…
Phyang – festival

Chants, musiques, prieres, scenes de theatre, costumes colores… le tout dans le Gompas de ce petit village.
With Shaina, July the 21st, we decided to see the anual praying of the Phyang monks, shown as a festival…
Phyang is a village close to Leh – 45 minutes by bus.
Songs, musics, prayings, plays, colorful costumes… in the Gompa of this small village…
Et ben tintin…
